Ailie (she/her) is a fourth year undergraduate Biological Sciences student with a big interest in all things brains after spending a sandwich year in industry doing neuroscience research. She wants to pursue a career in research and believes that all scientists have a responsibility to share their work with the public in a fun and accessible way to inspire our next generation of geniuses and make science a less exclusive club. Outside of uni life Ailie can be found up a hill at home with her dog, jamming on piano and guitar, or searching for Edinburgh’s best hot chocolate – and always in dungarees.
