Elly (any pronouns) is currently working towards a PhD in neuroscience and genetics, with a focus on age related cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s Disease. They have always thought that increasing public understanding of science was an important matter, but the pandemic really opened their eyes to the necessity of efficient communicate between scientists and the public. They believe that we should all be attempting to rebuild public trust in science and improving general understanding. When they manage to escape the lab, they love climbing and baking.
