Maria (she/her) joined EUSci with her first written article in her 2nd year of university. Since then, she has edited countless more as one of the head copy editors and an avid fan of grammar. Now in the final year of her BSc in Biotechnology, she has undertaken the role of President. She is interested in synthetic biology and the biotechnology industry, particularly into how we can apply biological knowledge to address real-world issues. When her nose is not buried in her textbook, you can find her exploring the city, hiking, or in kickboxing classes
